Bach Lunch opens spring series

The UL World Percussion Ensemble will kick off the Spring 2010 season of Bach Lunch with a bang — several bangs, in fact.

The lunchtime music series, produced by the Lafayette Science Museum Foundation, is held Fridays in Parc Sans Souci, with the exception of the April 23 show, which will be in Parc International as part of Festival International de Louisiane.

Lunches provided by area restaurants go on sale at 11:15 a.m. with the music scheduled from noon to 1 p.m.

The season is sponsored by Kleinpeter Farms Dairy, Lafayette Consolidated Government, Acadiana Bottling Company Inc. and KRVS.

Printing provided by LCVC.

The performances are free, with proceeds from the lunch sales going to support the museum.
